Christmas Lantern Trio

Those freezing winter nights don't seem nearly so cold when you're snuggled up inside, hands wrapped around a handmade ceramic mug filled with mulled wine as you watch the gentle flicker of flame in a tealight candle holder dancing merrily as it burns.

This Christmas Lantern Trio is the perfect set for creating that ambience yourself, including two sage star lanterns and a festive match pot.

First, we've taken our popular mini lantern and carved in a star, adding a little holiday spirit before glazing the lantern with our limited edition frosty blue glaze. To light your tealight candles, grab one of the white-tipped matches in the star stamped match pot, using the affixed striker pad for ultimate candle-lighting convenience.

As with all of the Welsh ceramics we make here at Glosters, this Christmas Lantern Trio is made with high quality stoneware clay and specialty glazes from our local supplier. The strength and durability of the clay allows us to make the lanterns lighter than expected, while remaining strong.

Please note that the ceramic tealight holders will get hot when a flame is lit - take care to use on a flat surface, keep out of reach of children, or even use battery-operated tealight candles.

Each of the items is handmade in our pottery workshop in Porthmadog, and due to the process may differ slightly in size and design from those shown.
